Other than the obvious element of surprise. Imagine this.. 5 guys bust in, 2 of them take the item, and the other 3 just go into limbo in the HQ. 5 hours later, the 3 that dropped link log back in at the same time, and proceed to knock heads. You could attack someone in their HQ without them hearing the defender over the cabal channel.
