When someone immorts, they become a heroimm as the same character they were as a mortal. When they advance to 52, this continues. At 53, however, for a variety of reasons, a new persona can be granted (e.g. there's a cabal that REALLY needs another imm, or maybe the person's original role leaves them without much to do in Asgaard, etc.).

For example, Amberlea --> Lyria. This is common knowledge, pretty much. Other past ones include Laurella --> Andaren, and Sattanos --> Agathocles.

Now, as to who Uller is... well, maybe you can guess, maybe you can't. It doesn't really matter. The point is, it's not some weird case of imm favoritism... he worked his way up from 1 to hero like everyone else, immed, and made it up to 53.
