> Uhmm.. yeah.. sure you can. But not before you smoke alot of CRACK. Sheesh! Oh yeah, your example using the cop made absolutely no sense, either. Thanks for wasting *everyone's* time.. Okay I may not have thought that idea (or explained it) out entirely. What you said about Giants, Felar, and Duergar...no. These races are (for the most part) stupid and that's why they learn EVERYTHING slowly and that's why it makes sense also. Now how much a character whether they be Gnome or Giant or whatever else practices/trains is up to that character, but what they start off with (stats, natural abilities, and so on) makes sense and I do not think it needs changed. >Elves - Learn magic and, depending on alignment, communes fast or slow. (Drows would find the dealing of pain involved in being a shaman natural, but the healing and aiding of others less.. common. Elves excel at healing) Warrior skills moderate for both races. Ranger skills fast for elves. No if a Drow finds the pain involved in being a shaman natural then you can roleplay that as a character, but the Immortals should not have to do everything for you. >Gnomes - Spells and communes all fast. Warrior skills slow. What if some Ganome or Svirf has trained their whole life as a Warrior? Wouldn't they learn those skills more swiftly? You're shoving the races into archetypes, and that's not what everyone plays. Not every Giant is a Warrior, not every Gnome is a mage, and that's why the Immortals leave it like it is. So you can decide. Oh and I don't smoke crack...next time if you want to call me names or make fun of me e-mail me. I don't appreciate seeing that shit on the forum and neither do any of the other VIPs including Dioxide.
Svirf - Spells slow, communes and warrior skills moderate.
