1. Graphic muds cost money.(because they involve more work than people want to do for free) It is entirely possible that a group of dedicated coders and area builders (like the imms Elandren has never played Quake!
2. People who pay for something have a right(perhaps debatable) to bitch,
complain, sue(!) the people providing that something.
3. Assuming again that the graphical mud is not free, can they actually require people to
roleplay?
4. From what I have heard, the graphic muds of today discourage and hinder
your ability to kill your neighbor.(one of the biggest selling points on muds -
head to head competition)
5. Graphics might look cool, but your imagination based on text can be even
better looking. (the book was better than the movie...)
7. #1 again, can't stress money enough!
on cf) would get together with a group of talented graphic type people and make a kick ass
graphical mud AND let people play it for free, with PKing, required roleplaying and all that
jazz...but I am not holding my breath.
