Is it a Kensai in Oriental Adventures? This Kensai is a blade-weapons master - and his whole life is dedicated to that weapon only. He has this fearsome skill called whirlwind attack (something like flurry) but on all opponents with massive damage. It's like a sudden burst of strength. (nt):
