CF has the fiercest competition I beleive exists on a mud these days-these people have it down to a science and are going to beat on you sometimes no matter what you are wearing vs what they are wearing. When you die.... look at the log and try to find a way you could have escaped; if you first learn how to NOT DIE, then you may just learn how to kill one of these days. I've been playing this mud for five years and I get ROMPED very very often but I rarely die these days:)
I'm talking PREPERATION: flying potions, trans potions, enlarge roots, return potions, anti toxins, refresh vitamins, a sanc potion or two in case of a gang bang (yeah they are expensive)not hanging out where people hunt, finding less traffic'd areas to rank, being selective with who you put yourself around, knowing the areas you are in very well and learning as many new areas as you can.... perfecting your defensive skills is a given-equipment will come if you manage not to die.
