conception of goodness is, in all cases involving
magic being a tool/form of evil. Thus The lightwalker
sees even the evil villagers as acting in the interest
of good, though not go out of his way to help them
unless in times of raids for or against.

and not becoming a storm giant, even a villager. It sounds
like something i'd expect from an Imperial, Scarab, Baron,
or Arbiter. Well, maybe a Sylvan as well. But a villager
should never consider even grouping with the mage and might
threaten it outright or begin a conversation to try to
turn the mage. An evil or neutral villager do this to lure
a mage out I guess.

an evil being destroyed. As for needing detect invis,
They can be pure without magic and learn to concentrate
like the battleragers to see invisible or magic auras.
turn other villagers to the light, but after a while it felt almost useless
because it became obvious no one was interested in losing any skills/songs.
Also, when dealing with killing other lightwalkers not obviously using magic,
like the time he slew the prisoner elf while thirsting, or he slew two Servants
while thirsting and stuck in quicksand (gee, thanks Azaera), he would mourn
internally and cut himself. He practiced Scarafication for two events, to
create pain to remove from his mind something that he felt guilty of, or to
mark the slaying of a magic user.
