Consider: -Knights get canned. Evil breaths a sigh or relief as golden weapons vanish -Magic/nature war blurrs the line between the Imperial Arcane sect and Tower to almost nothing. -Dawn comes into being, itemless, with almost laughable powers. -The Scarab Cabal is created, evils only of course. -Empire gets new powers. Most of my friends have long since quit playing goods because it just isn't fun. Also, you, the Immortals, are basically the ones in charge of trends because you control the reward system in Thera. If people get more reward, and fun, for being evil that's what they'll be. Sure a few diehards will stay Good, but people play this for FUN. Not to be a martyr. As for Battle/Masters someday being mostly lightwalking cabals, you can't be serious. Most people believe good involves NOT slaughtering scores of people based on their views on Magic, wearing body parts, buring down forests, arbitrarily murdering all Rangers, ect. ********************************************
Note that i have had similar arguements recently. To either Raisa or Selric...Shokai if possible....can anyone tell me what it would take to give at least one more power to Dawn? Their powers are not laughable..succor i have used to save many people, but they are also leaving a bit to be desired. I play goods simply due to the fact that there aren't enough anymore. I have played a storm rager...as was posted by some imm a while ago...perhaps i was one of the three...? Perhaps a members of the dawn could "discover" an old golden blade lying around like the knights of solamnia found the dragonlance in the keep of the high clerists tower in dragons of summer flame...? Would certainly make dawn life more entertaining and would increase the size of the good in thera. Also..even an item would make things more enticing for llightwalkers...then they would feel they had more to "fight for" without being the agressive ones.
