-Granted, my roleplay was not perfect, Eldeluin
was made to be slightly flawed as a mortal and
as I deleted at rank 27 or so, I never got to
understand his full potential in character.
The furthest that I got with him is as follows:

To be blunt, Eldeluin believed that magic in
itself was a taint of evil, or rather that
someone that used magic was more likely to
succumb to the temptations of evil. Wielding
such unimaginable power reaches out to many
a mage, causing them to abandon their credos
and beliefs and turning towards a more petty,
dark side. A prime example of this was the
Tower for Eldeluin, he saw fellow elves of
Darsylon peacefully studying amongst the hated
drow of the Underdark. While it may seem that
it is hypocrisy to believe such a thing, as
the Battleragers have a similar sort of
membership, Eldeluin knew that other ragers
had other reasons for fighting magic that
doubtlessly differed from his own. Also,
the ragers were not on as friendly of terms
as the mages of the Tower, Eldeluin was openly
rude to several of the dark ones that he met
within the village walls. However, he also
realized that occasionally you must work with
some evil to distinguish an even greater evil.
For those goodly mages that he met, he never
attacked, always warned of the taint that they
must resist that resided within them. Master
elves he disliked for their obvious association
with the drow, but refused to kill his own
kinsman. So, in reality, Eldeluin was a Knight
in the truest sense, or perhaps a Maran, but
instead believed that evil stemmed from magic
and therefore, coincidentally, his views
coincided with that of the Battleragers and
he joined.

I am not saying that this was a "correct" way
of thinking, plenty of discrepancies could be
pointed out. Also, never progressing beyond
level 27 severly hampers my understanding of
what he could've become. In any case, there
is my semi-terse explanation of what Eldeluin's
roleplay was.

In response to Thror's beliefs on "goodness",
I never felt that he was inclined one way or
the other. He advocated for courage, strength,
and a willingness to die. Such things as greed
got in the way of courage and therefore were
dispicable. However, I do not think in a cabal
such as ragers you must follow the leader's
views, merely take them into consideration.
