To all the CFers, large and small, I apologize for not being here for you all. Conflicting concerns for time between two jobs and summer classes have left me without much time to devote to the mud, and to you. The biggest problems i have been having are of a personal nature. I do not wish to go into these on a public fourm, but if you wish, you can mail me and I will fill you in with the problems that have been going on. The short of it is, I feel that I have wronged the immortals, the Sylvan Warders, and all of you, the players. I have not had the ability to give all of you what is required of me in being an immortal. For that, I am deeply sorry. I would love to return to the world of Carrion Fields, to the place that I go to relax, to have fun, and to do what it is that I love, roleplay. It may sound strange, but the mud is like a second home for me. I did spend three semesters here with the occasional log off for food, sleep, or smokes. I love this place. You, the players (immortals included) have made Carrion Fields a place that is very special to me. I hope to come back, and if God and fate are willing, I will return to see all of your faces, names, and wonderful characters again. Again, I am sorry to all of you for doing this. But it is, after all, a game. If I do not have my own life straight, then I won't be able to be here at all. Thank you for all the wonderful times, and I hope to see all of you once again. -John Fordham
