BattleRagers:

Well, I'm playing a warrior who doesn't believe
in using magics to help his attacks, but I also
don't want to be a villager. I believe Magic is
okay as long as its not used on me. I believe
in perfecting ones true self. Now my regard is
the villagers. I'm often with a mage yet I don't
let them use there spells on me. Yet, one on
one with a rager means my death, every time. I
know some others have this same problem. If we
don't want to join a cabal, we are screwed by
the others powers. I was wondering if the wiz'es
ever considered coding in restrictions for powers?
An example would be I am walking down the eastern
road. Rager A sees me and decides he can beat
me since I'm all alone and he has his powers.
He proceeds to attack me, but the code checks to
see if I have any spells on my that might change
the balance (haste, sanc, elemental shields, fly
such and such). When the computer finds I have
no spells on me, his powers stop working like db's
resistance, bloodthirst. He'll get a message like
you are too courageous to use your powers. And
the DeathBlows would not go through. Now if while
fighting this guy one on one, a mage comes along
and starts casting spells on teh villager, his
powers would then start working again. This could
be done for all cabals so that indies actually
have a chance against a cabal person without having
6 friends spell you up so you can take on a
single caballed person. And all cabals could
have this affect on them.

Someone
PS. Comments or things I might have missed are
welcome. Insults about joining a cabal are not
wanted as I've already done that to many times
and its just boring now days.
