> Blindness sucks, can't disagree there. However, as a warrior, you go ahead and blind me, and I'll take my two weapons and my bash and while you are wasting time blinding I'll be bashing you so you can't disarm me. First of all, if you, and AP, are fighting a warrior who's similarly equipped, go right ahead and bash him, and don't be surprised when he kills you, since he's better equipped to fight you than you are he in a straight up slugging match. > > Ap's get third attack when? 25th level, no? > Actually they get it at 13th rank, and dual wield at 15th. Which still sucks compared to warriors. > > And it's tough to lightning bolt someone to death while dirted. > You don't have to direct lightning bolt when you're fighting, so unless they flee you can light them up like an arial in the bathtub. That's the whole point.. Hence, the "lightning bolt someone to death" statement he was refuting. > I've easily stomped on groups of people as a lowbie anti-paladin. Granted I ALWAYS sit on Eastern and/or chase raiding parties so I get some stellar gear, sometimes even the odd aura/barrier/shield item. By the time I prepare myself with all of that shit, enlarge or reduce as required, and fly...they've got nothing left to do but dirt and run. I think anti-paladins are probably one of the better lowbie pk'ers, especially with the huge crop of magic haters running around. Let me highlight the primary word here.. Lowbie. You're primarily succeeding against a bunch of guys who have little to no clue what they're doing. There are a million more chinks in your lowbie AP pker armor than I've pointed out here, but I'll save all the best one for using on you, and cocky arrogant jerks like just you, in the game itself.
> Yellow roots and flying potions take care of tripping and bashing. If enlarge isn't enough to get you out of bashing range, maybe reduce will...if not then your point stands.
Second, you explain how you're going to enlarge yourself out of his bashing range right after you explain how you're going to bash him senseless.. Hello? You don't get to have your bashes and make him eat his, too. Either he has a shot at bashing you, or you don't get one on him.
Third, bash isn't perfect, even giant on human. You will eventually miss one, or get that single round lag bash where he gets his shot in on you.
Lastly, if you're bashing, you aren't casting, or doing anything else useful. Bash just keeps him there, and stops/slows his commands.. you still have to win the fight itself.
> > In truth, my point was that if all of these rager wannabes aren't grouping with magi, they are probably grouping together. If one group has one of the things I mentioned, the antipaladin is toast (one to see the invisible guy, the other two to kick the crap out of him)
