I like this one. Though the armgument that they're already too powerful at hero, has been raised, this can be remedied. I say, lessen their skills' powers during the mortal part of their life. And if they please their god (you know, like EMPOWERMENT)
They can be granted the skills that only this Prince guy can get. Like horns and all sorts of gribbly stuff, and claws and Big Sticker Things coming from their Backs. Oh yeah, not to mention a few powers and spells as well. This would be absolutely fun, at least for me. Gives me incentive to be an evil sunnuvagun ;:->
