I'm not going to sing the praises of Scarabaeus...or the man behind the character. For that I chose a more personal forum. However there are a few things I felt I really should say publicly. Carrionfields has always been a labor of love, and is highly a direct product of the people who pour thier souls into it. My point of this is twofold...one, we're just people. We hurt, we cry, we laugh, we sing...some better than others. Two, carrionfields will be different from here on out...because we've lost something that made it unique. I don't know how much it will change...it's hard to tell what other people have in them, until it's tested. I'm not saying that any of us could fill Scarabaeus's shoes, since that would be a grotesque statement of arrogance. But we'll do what we can with what we have.
Th next thing I wanted to say was this: Anyone out there who has decided to hide themselves off the gaming field, with a false persona...and allowed themselves to slip into the sirine call of the internet...do yourself, and everyone else a favor, pull your phoneline out of the wall, turn your modem off...then ship it back to whereever you bought it. Go to a professional, and seek help. Even if you can't see the ripples...it hurts people, and if you like hurting people...they have places for you, a rent free room...and an outfit of comfy white....check into it.

I'm sure I should have more to say...but well, I can't think of more.
