Everyone = Arolin?

Do you realize how ridiculous a point this is? You're saying Istendil helped Scarabaeus with his lich quest and this somehow indicates a breach of proper conduct? You do realize that Scarabaeus could have played with the "stat" imm command for a total of 30 seconds and gotten the precise locations of all his quest items, yes? Furthermore, Scar was likely the one who played the part of the cleric for Istendil's liching, but are you telling me that Istendil didn't deserve to lich? Furthermore, you do realize that regardless of how much the "cleric" likes you, there's a failure rate on all elixirs? None of this is a sure thing (case in point: Golibedadi, Twist's necromancer, who died to the Elixir). At the time that Istendil helped Golmagus actually gather the items, furthermore, Arbiter and Empire were allied, and from a purely IC perspective, having the gratitude of an evil Arbiter Lord is a good thing for any Emperor to want politically. When's the last time you saw a lich gather all four of their items without any in-game assistance?

As far as Scarabaeus' own biases go, need I remind you that Orodeth liched. Orodeth. As in neosoft.com Orodeth. Out of every necro who's ever tried to lich, Orodeth is the last one who would have succeeded if it were based on OOC issues.

I could tell you some stories of real abuses that would make your head spin, I'm sure. Believe me when I say that you couldn't be further off-base with this ridiculous accusation.

Out of every immortal who plays mortal characters, Scarabaeus had the most pristine record when it came to imm/mort mixing and shady dealings. And if Golmagus was a "corrupt" Arbiter... so? Playing an evil Arbiter for whom self-interest is crucial is suddenly a sin?

Until you know what the fuck you're talking about, go stand in a corner or something and shut up, eh?
