The greatest good and the worst downfall is the idea people feel that no one will know who they are.
That being said, -- NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK YOUR NOT AS ANONYMOUS as you think you are.
The good is people feel more free to speak there mind, the bad, people feel more free to speak there mind.
How many people post under Someone - Dude when you want to say something that won't be related to your main Alias
The only way to curb this is to remove a little of that anonymity. Have people register before they can write to the forum.
And then people might think alittle before they speak and a little courtesy might be restored. It's not perfect but it is a start.
