Good post , touching on some things that I certainly agree with. However, two exceptions.

For the most part, we are all adults. All of us know how to speak, and when certain words should be used.

I do. Treat others in an adult, professional manner. Their actions will determine whether or not respect is warranted, since it will always be MY judgement call.
