Arolin, Arolin, Arolin, sometimes I believe you take a moment to think about the situation and a proper response, then purposely find the complete, diametric opposite of that and post it. *sigh*
Perhaps this gives you the jollies.
I will, however, this once, respond as though you were serious about your comments.

Having to ask other masters to find out an answer to a question that serafim asks is fine, IF THE QUESTION HAS A DEFINITE ANSWER. What we have been discussing are the questions he, Serafim, frequently asks that are by definition unresolved issues of the mechanics of the world of Thera. There is no real answer to how nature affects magic. The game isn't that defined/detailed. Now, Serafim may have come up with his own explanations for things, and thats all well and good, but they are *his*, *personl* explanations and for him to demand others accept it is improper. As I keep saying - and even I am beginning to grate on myself with this redundancy - he should ask applicants for *their* explanations, and as long as they are valid within the world of Thera, he should accept that. He is perfectly free to probe into their explanations and make sure it's not just a one sentance concoction, but he should not require you to go querry other masters to find out the "Party line" on these sorts of things.

Some might argue that this has already been done, with regard to the Five Magics. However, note that the definitions of the five magics have, in fact, been set down and given, by the Immortals. (Twist and Nepenthe, specifically) Thus, there *has* been divine revelation and that aspect of game mechanics/physics of thera so to speak, has been determined.

As for your suggestion that after speaking to other masters and getting your interview perfect, all you get there, Arolin, is a cabal of people who say the exact same things to every question, which most agree is what we are trying to AVOID. It is called the "cookie-cutter syndrome."

In the future, please try to be serious about your posts, Arolin, if you feel the need to post at all, which I hope will soon depart from your psyche, given you claim you have not played for over six months.
