Felars dont always have a free hand to tiger claw etc.
They get the extra attack with claws from spear and staff, but cant tiger with either.
You need to use a one handed weapon with no shield, or no weapon and a shield.

Lots of fireballs out there, and theres a fair few flame weapons.
Unfortunately arials (as for every other class) make good assassins.
You cant trip an arial, which is another bonus.

As for one on one fights felar vs arial ass, my felar came out on top most of the time.
Thats probably more to do with technique than anything.
