Let me just say this:

This idea kicks ass.

Find a way to make it happen.

Ponderer, immort and it shall be.

That is all.

> Examine:

> Allows the arbiter to examine a corpse. He'll search for clues as to the cause of death, taking special consideration of wound size, whether or not their puncture wounds or slices, taking note of bruises/bumps/fractures, taking note of gaping wounds from which blood spews, strangulation marks, and so forth.

> Each weapon type will be seen to make different kinds of wounds.

> For example:

> Axe: "You notice large, wide, and extremely deep wounds.
> Dagger: Piercing type: "You notice several small puncture wounds."
> Sword: "You notice notice relatively thin, long slices."
> Mace: "You take note of multiple bruises and bumps, as well as some fractured bones and abrasions."

> Certain attacks show certain things:

> Strangle: "You notice deep bruising encircling the neck."
> Blackjack/Cranial/Blackjack/Stun: "You take note of a large bump on the top of the head."
> Disembowel: "Entrails lay about the corpse."
> Boneshatter: "You notice a bone protruding from a gaping wound on the corpse's left arm."

> Magical attacks show certain things:

> Iceneedles: "You take note of many puncture wounds, some of which still have slightly melted shards of ice in them."
> Fire based attacks: "You notice multiple burns about the corpse."

> You get the idea.

> This ability allows the arbiter to narrow the pool of subjects by adding up the kinds of wounds. If you see that a corpse has been disemboweled and also has fractured bones and the victim is above 40th rank you know that either a warrior axe/mace spec was involved or that the victim was ganked by two warriors, one of each specialization. Further investigation finds that a witness heard the victim yell the name of an axe/mace spec warrior, so you have your man.

> This reduces the possibility for mistaken identity, lying and deceitful witnesses. It also allows the arbiter to realize that more than one party was involved. For instance, the arbiter hears the victim yell, but doesn't know if the others in the suspect's group were involved or not. After examining the corpse the arbiter realizes that the victim was blackjacked by the thief in the group, then the anti-paladin cleaved him, and the invoker automatically assisted because there was no yell yet the corpse has ice shards sticking out of it.

> Arbiter as forensic pathologist, I like it.
