Well, when you consider their names.. Paladin and Anti-Paladin, you'd be lead to expect that the Anti-paladin would trash a paladin in a fight, which, for the most case is true. Consider a new class called, anti-thief. How do you think a fight should go between a thief and an anti-thief? I don't know about you, but I'd put my money on the anti-thief. Ok, back to the main topic, new powers for paladins to make them more formidable. I would suggest that, instead of focusing on fighting anti-paladins (who are focused on fighting paladins), the paladins would focus on a more general target, evil as a whole. To that end, perhaps the paladins special weapon would simply do extra damage against evil. Perhaps with each sucessful hit the paladins blade would strike their foe with a weak dispel evil. Perhaps every time an evil person attacked a paladin wielding one of these special blades they had a chance of being cursed, blinded, and or weakened by the blades purity (Would definately help cut down on gang'in up on paladins). Perhaps the blade would heal the paladin in combat, grant him aristasia, haste, frenzy, make him see invisible, hidden, and camo, restore his mana once every day at sunrise, automatically repoist from any parried blow, and cast turn undead every time the paladin moved. That last one might be stretching it though. ...Rome...
