Kind of like one last hurrah?” > ..Then I thought back to myself.. > “You know Rome, that does sound like a good idea. They could get suped up for a few days and run around teach those who picked on them a lesson..” > So I set about thinking of how it might work. Here’s what I came up with. > When a hero applied for immhood and is accepted, they would be given 20 hrs of playing time during which they would be a SuperHero (like Batman and Wonderwoman.. if there were enough at one time, they could make a hall of justice!). > Anyway, these superheros would still be mortal, but would be given this time to say their goodbyes to their mortal friends, squish a few mortal enemies one last time, and give the imm’s a sneak preview on how this person handles some sickening powers. > Their powers would be: > > Allowed use of the Recall Skill once more. > Divine Intervention (Meaning the imm’s are watching and allowed to interfere in the players actions. If he’s doing something that fits with his role play, they will help him [Heal him in combat and so on], if he’s being a jerk they’ll make things a little tougher for him [Heal/spell up his foes]) > Permanent Spells: Everything you can do (Skills, spells, songs, or communes) that you want placed upon you will be set on you permenantly. > Timer affect: Lasts 200 hrs or something (whatever works out to 20 hrs real time), at the end of which time the imm’s turn you into a true hero-imm. > Once the superhero is done talking to the immortals, and has been transformed, he’s loosed upon the world to do whatever he feels like (during which time the imm’s get to watch him and find out what exactly he’s really made out of). If he dies, he loses his Heavenly Inspiration, and must re-contact the powers that be to request a second chance. > Think of all the fun you could have with this. Wouldn’t it have been neat to see Thror running around all hepped up on goofballs, trashing masters whenever he met them? (After all, he’d be basically permenantly sanc’d with resistance, with a damroll challenging Palan’s, using deathblow. eeaaakk!). You’d get one last chance to really stick it to those people who’d been pissin’ on you your entire life. You’d have a good two days where you’re basically king of the mud (unless you push it too far and they gang you.. then you’d be in real trouble). > Poor Dyston probably would have loved a chance to pay back all those imperials and masters who’d been picking on him for so long. Wouldn’t they have loved to see a cheetah with +50/50 hit dam, and permanent sanc coming after them? Just to give you a chance to make things easier for your cabal mates, get them some nifty new equipment, and basically put everything the way you like it before you head to Asgard. > I realize this is a silly idea, but considering how short a time it would last for (probably no more than 3 days to a week), and how rare it would be to happen (3-4 times a year?), I don’t think anyone would be too upset. > Aww.. I’ll shut up now.. > …Rome…
> Permenant Divine Transformation: +50 hit, +50 dam, +10 to all stats, -30 to all saves, +500 hitpoints/mana/moves, grants flight, bash protection, spiderhands, waterbreathing, 50% damage reduction, and gives a silvery aura.
