Hi all, Then when I walk from NT to Galadon and see Myleftfoot on eastern i just write : t My (push tab) That means next time that I use the command tt I'll trip Myleftfoot. I run to galadon and see Stelfatgold on the battlement .. I write and I can use my alias cs to summon Stelfatgold To make the above work all I had in my tintin file was : #al t {#var target} and then I had tabadd'ed the names mentioned. Why use wintin/tintin instead of Zmud ? I hope this helps, Sincerely Soren Email gethe@diku.dk
As I said, one of the first things I'll do when entering Thera is tabad all in my Pk -range. The reason is as follows:
I type:
#tabad Mxypytlifys
#tabad Stelfatgold
#tabad Myleftfoot
then Tintin (And Wintin) writes something like:
#Ok. $target is now set to {Myleftfoot}
t S (push tab, then return)
I get a reply from tintin :
#Ok. $target is now set to {Stelfatgold}
#al cs {cast 'summon' $target}
#al tt {trip $target}
Well, if you only play from home/a normal PC, Zmud is very nice. It have a very user friendly interface and a good help file. Most people I know that play from home uses that.
The reason to use Wintin/tintin is that the same scribt can be used on UNIX (on most university) and on PC. Then whenever I get to a terminal I download wintin/tintin and ftp my script from Diku and I am ready to play, no matter where I am.
