Hmm ... how can I possibly say this ...

It is more balanced these days, it's not a sure thing being a mage confronting a rager. But the ratio is still staggering in your favour.
I can't remember the last time I died to a rager and I have been playing a lot of mages,
Ragers are the easiest to avoid
They are the most disadvantaged in terms of using special knowledge
They routinely get into no-win situations, where they get their ass handed to them.
They don't have the diversity to make a truly fearsome combination(more rangers with snare would help ... and some bards)

All in all ... not that big a thing, just don't go banging at the giant with multiple of them in your range nearby.

Their powers are way too powerful for a normal mage, that aren’t of the tower, to stand any chance against them. In my opinion it is getting less and less to play. You can’t go and explore any more, because of the nightgaunt, and you can’t play a normal mage anymore because of the ragers. Something has to be done about this, or else I’ll simply stop playing
