I agree, I'm fairly certain that some instruments are better than others.

I have to suggest the travelling song or beautify. Some songs have shorter lag periods and mastering sing with a song that uses a lot of mana is silly.

The black lyre from the guildguard/master? in Arkham is nice as well. I've gotta reccomend Gjallor or horn of tritons though.
