Not going to say if he is or isn't overpowered, or if that even matters. If you want to quit the game because of what you see as an insurmountable challenge, that is your call. Personally, I LIKE the challenge of a Lich I cannot see coming. It just seems to add an incredible dimension to the game, more so than Palan with his axe o' death :P (which was still a lot of fun). I also agree with Daedric, it is one HELL of a feeling when you do manage to kill one, too. Especially one on one (:P Draktha - well, the Destructor helped a bit). Not to make this a flame, though; not everyone plays the way I do. So here are a few tips (not all of them, in fairness to Zorszaul, not like he needs the help, though) that may help you more than Septach's tips (or may not, up to you, they tend to work for me). 1. Check to see if he is in the realms. If not, skip all the rest and go on about your business. Not going to give tips on how to kill him, though...that's just not fair to him - figure them out on your own. But these tips should help keep you at least alive, and make it more of a challenge to him. And are a bit more reasonable than spamming murder on every newbie in the game.
2. Drop him a line...say Hello.
3. If he IS doppled, be on guard. Trust no one! (Like you trust anyone anyhow)
4. Stay out of heavily populated areas.
5. Be wary of those out of your range in closed rooms (ala summon).
6. Move around a lot...if he has to chase you long enough, the dopple will wear off.
7. Guilds are not safe. Plan your bathroom/beer/coffee breaks carefully!
