He got them off of the guy in the academy who
was his main rival. His rival was the one trying
to kill him, and as well take Gwynvathar away
from him. And Drizz didn't like the bracers too
much either, since they made him too off balance.
Later on though , I thought the assassin artremis
got the bracers
