Pray. dont' just pray, have a message with it, and make it appealling, not the same one over and over. Oh yea, try about every 15-30 minutes. Ask/Talk to a follower of his. check your sphere to see who might wear his mark, and make general inquires to your friends/guildmates. Followers can guild you to what works best for your chosen Diety, and they can put in a good word. Some Imm's use this more than others, but it can't hurt. Patience. I've had 2 tattoos, One took about 15 minutes of praying and about 5 minutes of discussion with the Imm. The other took many hours of praying, speaking to followers, RP-ing my relegion constantly, and working on my Desc. to make sure I was giving the best impression of who I wanted to be. As suggested before, if you can't find the shrine, think about who you're looking for and find a place you think is acceptable and pray from there... Good Luck, as mentioned, sometimes that's all it takes.
