I would agree completely that paladins are in need of a helping hand in the pk'ing department, but they are hardly push overs to kill. Their defensive abilities are some of the best in the game. Parry Sanctuary and heal alone make them about as tough to kill as anyone but healers. Now, on the offensive side, I would say they have a hard time killing people. This is mainly because normally you either have to do one of two things to kill someone. a) Do hideously sick damage in a very short time. b) Keep your foe from fleeing. The damage a paladin can do is around average. Wrath is nice, but not great as far as offensive spells go, and it certainly doesn't match up against some of the more damaging warrior skills. Let's not forget the VERY nice weapons that are paladin only. I've always found paladins to be excellent at ranking (which would indicate they have at least a little power), but run into their problems in the pk department mainly do to their excessive exp penalty (People do so love their storm giant paladins... that is until someone points at them and says, "DIE"). In summary, paladins are perhaps the weakest pk'er next to healers, however, they are perhaps the sturdiest next to them as well. All they need is some window dressing to make them shine. ...Rome...
