> I have heard somewhere that they are thinking about redoing the paladins, and i think that it is about time. Think about it all a paladin has is san can san room. They have nothing else. I know that they are protectors, but in order to protect they must be able to fight come on imm. help us out here give them some good fighting ablities. Remember every evil being in the realms are after paladin giv them the chance to live alittle. The paladin is a class designed to fight evil. They will fare better against evil type characters. No single class should be EQUALLY effective against all other classes. I'd rate the transmuter at the top of that list, being the most versatile against just about any opponent. As for a healer, They're not indestructable, they fare better against different classes, and do poorly against others. The point is paladin's shouldn't be whipping down everything or everyone all the time. It takes a skilled player, good equipment, and some luck in order to be a dominant force, and I'll use palan for an example. Palan was a force to be reckoned with. He knew the strengths and weakneses of his opponents. He was mostly flying all the time. He could see hidden. He fought when it was to his advantage, and he killed a lot. The point is, Palan's player was skilled. He knew how to play CF, and especially how to kill. PK'ing power and skill shouldn't be a variable in the character mechanics itself(with the exception of assassinate, of course), it should come from the player's skill. I've seen many paladins that grew strong, Hilcroft, Kantheron, just to name a few. Every class shouldn't be EASY to be made into a pkilling machine. You've got to know all of the details of the combination you have, and do that for yourself. Paladin's do not need any changes that I can tell, with the exception of possibly an increase in the avg Hp's per rank. Thats my $.02.
