My only thoughts about that is that still isn't really giving them a much needed fairness or even edge. And making empowerment harder won't help anything. I recently just got empowerment for the first time and am glad that the imm was patient enough to bear with me and teach me. I think it just requires also being willing to learn from your diety. No one is perfect, but we all can normally learn. > 1. Lose Call Lightning, Sancitify room, Know Alignment, and some of the other less Paladin like abilities.
Feel free to argue.
> Paladins should be the hardest to be Empowered and stay Empowered character. Only those who can really Roleplay the Paladin should be able to keep the blessing of thier God. With this in mind I offer up some Ideas for new powers and such.
> 2. When Paladins get tattoo'd it is three tiered. The first tattoo of thier God which is the same as all Tattoo's that thier gods give out. When they reach level 35 or so, If they have shown they are worthy of representing thier God they're tattoo reaches the next level, and at Hero a Third.
> example-
> Shokai Paladin
> Level 15- tattoo of a silver flame
> 10 10 10 10 +1 str
> will cast dispel evil once every
> 30 rounds of combat
> level 35-tattoo of a silver Phoenix
> 20 20 20 20 + 1 con +2 str
> Will cast dispel evil once every
> 20 combat rounds
> level 51-Tattoo A Silver phoenix
> with wings of Flame
> 30 30 30 30 +2 con
> +3 str +30 hp
> Will cast dispel evil and
> heal every 15 combat
> rounds
> Every god that has a Paladin would have this, And Tatto's would be give out only if the Paladin truly represented his God. These Tattoo's would also give rank to the Paladin's Order, with lower Tattoo'd paladins following the orders of those above them.
