Actually if you are planning on going somewhere with a maze in it, I like to fill a sack with lots of single items to use to map my way through the maze. There are many things in galadon that all cost under 100 gold that work well for this type of thing. then instead of dropping gold, drop a turnip or an apple or a pie or etc...
