Here again, I disagree strongly with the outdated models widowson uses, and the words he uses to convey the kernal of idea that he wished to put forward.... Here is how I see what he means to say. 1)The Magic-nature war is valid in cf. Did that make sense? I am in no way a comandant of the english language, and have no idea if these words will succeed in passing on the point that I think will be missed by reading Widowson's post. If not, oh well.
2)The rp and idealogical theories behind it are valid in cf.
3)Being valid however does not belay the fact that by giving sanction to this bloodthirsty code, and allowing masters to follow it... masters have in the past followed it in numbers sufficient to cause an imbalance in cabal interaction/warfare and the cabal checks and balances system...to such an extent to make a detrimental affect on the over all enjoyment of the game.
