aol.com has a newbie ban on it because someone
named "Dolph" repeatedly was rolling multiple
sessions over a three day period. Desocketing
(with echoes about not rolling multiple sessions)
didn't work; banning his specific aol.com IP
didn't work (since the way AOL works, all
one needs to do is relog); temporary newbie
bans for aol.com didn't work. So, now there
is a permenant ban of newbies from aol.com.
This will last perhaps a week.

We did everything we could to let Dolph know
what he was doing was wrong and it didn't work.
I'm sorry for the other aol.com users, but your
ISP's screwy site-naming system doesn't give
us much choice but to be indiscriminant.
> I use aol and just got this when I tried to make a new character: New players are not allowed from your site. I have sent a note to the imms, but if anyone could explain to me why this happened I would love to know. Thanks.
