While I never had any problem gangbanging under the right circumstances, say during raids, or trying to kill an enemy to make a point, I did grow rather tired of it. My problem came with what I was trying to do with the Blades. I wanted to make them something more than a tool for other sects. Take out the Blades, and the other sects just aren't going to rank much. I wanted the other sects to realize this. The Blades have always been mindless thugs, and I understand the reason for this, yet I wanted to make some minor changes. The Immortals of the Empire (quite rightly i must say) did not agree with this, always saying that honor was a fools excuse for dying. Ahh well. My opinion was, if I can't lead the Blades the way I see fit, I won't lead them at all. So I made myself anathema. I'm still around every now and then, trying to adjust to life without the Empire. Don't have many problems with the Empire except when the Divine catch me... a healer with Imperial Vengeance is just ugly against anathema... damn Nastrael...or a shaman for that matter... damn Agorinth... I would like to think my life is far from over, but we shall see. My old bones can only take so much.
