All vagaries aside, I think Arolin does have a valid point. If he was asked by the masters to group, and they didn't tell him beforehand where they were going, and he didn't suggest where to go, then going near a lich item for his other character (not actually getting the item, just going in the same area as it) is a wrong reason for denying 2 characters. > > $.02
Admittedly, I don't know the whole story in this case, but from what I've read, the action was a little too severe for what was really not a great deal.
> I'll take that challenge...since I highly doubt you can call me a hypocrite when it comes to the type of cheating smuggers stand accused of. Catching cheaters isn't really my forte, but I can tell you this...the constant same-site grouping that smuggers seem to do (you're getting better I'll grant you) is both amazing and apalling.
> You say it's unfair that we watch you like hawks, why? You yourself admitted that the site has been a problem site before you came, that aside is reason for us to be skeptical of the motives.

> The way I basically see this is like so; Arolin, you did something that was borderline, you're not from a site with a clean record so naturally you got smacked with the harshest penalty possible...sorry, it's called 'repeat offender' look into it.
> If smuggers want thier site to get off the 'kill at the first sign of blowing their nose wrong' list...then don't do anything remotely borderline, or cheating. Otherwise, just get used to having the harsher penalties...yeah it sucks, but *shrug* track records point to us having every reason and right to do what we do when punishing.
