I'm not sure if I can add anything productive to this thread, but what the hell. I am sure Twist did "the right thing" as he saw it. And I am also sure his decision was influenced, to some extent, by the past actions of players from your site. I also would like to think that he gave it a great deal of thought before he denied your two characters. So I cannot fault his decision, even if I don't totally agree with it (and that could be from a lack of all the facts on my part). I have always enjoyed interacting with your characters, from the perspective of both an ally and an adversary. I think I prefer adversary more, though, because you are skilled at the game and always present a challenge. That being said, I agree with SphereMaker's suggestion that the SMUGgers pick some roles that place you in opposition to one another. I realize that will hamper you (to a certain extent) in your exploration attempts, but I also think that you will really enjoy the added challenge (like sparky's post implied). You might also want to have one character and one character only at a time. That in and of itself adds a new dimension to the game, and makes it impossible for "misunderstandings" like this to happen. I don't think the IMMS have it in for you, or your site. If they did, they would site ban you in a heartbeat. I honestly believe that all of you bring a lot of good things to the game, and the IMMS realize this. They are willing to accept the added time that watching you closely requires because of this. Just a guess, though, as I am not one of them.
