But that is not so now. You can say "Raag and Azaera deleted" and that has impact, because...

Serafim has been so slow to induct people. There are far fewer rising in the ranks, far less support for them, I believe, than in the past.

Let me reiterate that Serafim is an excellent leader in most other regards. It is only in his applicant dealings/inductions that I find fault.

And, this fault has now come home to roost, if you will, in the lack of Masters. It is not a lack of applicants and notes to the Tower. There are as many as ever. But far, far fewer who first get an actual chance to talk to Serafim, and then get past his (to me) unacceptable questions in the interview.
