1. Find a mob in the game that might "know" something about the Lich process. The evil elven cleric is one (I used him) but there are others out there. Personally, I think using one of the others might make you stand out a bit more. Not like there are a huge number of Spectres out there, though... 2. Send a prayer up to the Gods of Thera, or a specific God. Keep it in character (of course). Wait for a response. If there is one, it will be obvious (a yell, a door opening...hopefully not the Lich coming to kill you). 3. If there isn't a response, wait about ten minutes. Try again. Still no response, then go about the rest of your MUD business. Come back the next day and repeat the process. 4. Scar gave me my list of items (at least I think it was him...:P) but there are others up there who will be glad to put you on the path. Be patient. Good luck! The world needs more Liches!
