You asked why he didn't put up his character name? He did something better...he signed as Elmaster. He's been playing for a long time, and he may not be the best player that ever breathed...but I assure you he can roleplay. Sitting naked at the evil pit in Galadon is leaving yourself wide open...for many, many roleplay reasons. One, you're probably evil. Any person whose purpose in life is to destroy evil is going to wax you. Two, you're an easy target. Anyone who is deceitful or mean has a reason to wax you and an easy victim (not every character looks for a fair fight). To add to Elmaster's rant on assuming everyone is honorable...I add to it assuming everyone wants to talk about it. There are more subtle ways to roleplay then to sit down and spill your life story. Do you sit down and justify everything you do to people? I would argue that it is a higher form of roleplay is one where the player is so far submerged inside the character that he acts like he would...this rarely means running around and explaining how and why you developed your character and his actions.
