Alright, good idea .. BUT this has actually been done to death, at least the speech impediment has. If you're thinking of making a character with a physical handicap be sure you actually play it. (Like if there's something wrong with your arm, you shouldn't wear anything on it or use it to wield a weapon/wear a shield or if you can't talk except through a mob, you shouldn't cast spells either or you should in some way cast them with difficulty.) If you're thinking of doing a speech impediment specifically please, please, please make it in some way relevant to something in your role and do it consistently your whole life. Mostly, I find the Immortals respond to these with more annoyance than admiration. In a text-based game they *are* rather cumbersome.
