Mmmm... color.

You really can do anything you want with a role, as far as I understand it. I've written roles that were short and sweet, got the point across in a succinct fashion, and got me where I wanted to go. I've had roles that were written from the first person like a diary, roles that were from the perspective of an objective storyteller, roles that were more of a mosaic than a focused attempt to get a point across, roles that were like paintings or descriptions with all the rules broken, and I've had very long roles that meandered through the planes of useful information, only reaching their goal by the very end, but making for an interesting read. All of them have served me perfectly well, and in fact, I've been complimented on them. Be creative.

Just so you know, anything's possible.
