I read that and boggled because:

1) I can't remember ever not being violently anti-dumb-abbreviation

2) I think I was way too much of a putz at that time to know what nice equipment was

But hey, maybe I did say those things. Those were different times. I remember well that you were considered a complete tool if you didn't tell your groupmates when to spam the altar if you had the key.

(Are there really players out there that don't remember old raiding? There must be)

And, if nothing else, I can always fall back on the "I was a dumb teenager" defense, which is similar to the "I was young and needed the money" defense, except that I did not recieve funds for this particular stupidity.
