I've told this story with Gobnait before, so you might have heard it then. The previous char was from 1997, I think, and her name was Jawahir, hometown New Thalos, who claimed to have been raised by the priests of the red sands temple (but then got a wanderlust and decided to become a bard). I had too much stuff going on then and had to drop the character, but I enjoyed her while she lasted. I felt really weird when I opened up an old file I had about her after playing Gobnait for about a month - and I recognized so many of the same themes and even some things I did with Gobnait were identical to how I would do it with Jawahir. Oops.
