Bye. As I'm sure many of you have noticed, I haven't been on much Once again, I have lost interest in Carrion Fields. I hope I never As for my character, yes, I did start losing interest in him And now my farewells: To the immortal staff: I enjoyed all the interactions; I even My point is, you have a great game and you do a much better job than To the Empire: All in all, I enjoyed my stint as Emperor, though I can think of Battleragers: I didn't really know most of you except in combat. Okay, this is dragging on way longer than I intended. If any I'm getting bored so I'm stopping here. Havilahd/Altrael/Jagaub (among less noteworthy characters)
recently. Anyways, I started a job last Monday, and didn't really
have much time to play cf. After I was pulled away from cf a few
days, something strange happened.. I started going out with friends
at night and on the weekends. It felt funny at first, but now I'm
really starting to like it!
again would rather play a character on some fantasy mud than have
a life. Each time I get caught up in cf, bad things happen to my
life. Many of you are nice people, and to you I say, "Goodbye, it
was a pleasure interacting with you." Many of you are immature
and/or assholes, and to you I say, "Thank you, you helped me
realize how much of a waste of time this game is."
while I still played him. It did affect his rp, and it did make
him more careless.. mostly because I didn't care that much.
My character was definitely strongest when he had a goal.. such
as becoming Emperor. Once that major goal was achieved, the rest
of my goals seemed less exciting. Liching would have been another
major goal for Havilahd, but I had an obstacle before I could
obtain my reagents, and unfortunately I had to wait for the
correct people to be online at the same time as myself to overcome
it. I'm sure I would have overcome that obstacle shortly if I
played more often in the past couple of weeks, but.. those were
also the times when I began losing interest.
enjoyed the obstacle, and thought it was rather humorous or
perhaps karmatic (Yes, that's a made-up word). For those not in
the know, I had a moment of curiousity and devilish mischief at
during Thror's wedding, and decided to see if I could recall him
during it. I could, I did, and afterwards I lost word of recall.
I didn't mind, though it cost me several deaths I could have
otherwise avoided. I still think it was worth the few laughs
I got at the time. It didn't seem to affect my character too
adversely, since I was made Emperor after that happened, but
when it came time for my reagents (after screwing up the first
interview), I had to get some ring that Thror left behind to a
mortal. Of course, that mortal had passed it on to a mob, who
passed it on to another mortal, who passed it on to another
immortal, who would only give it to that mortal. I had at least
tracked it down, and whether or not I could actually get my hands
on it.. well, I don't really know.
I had previously realized (though I learned that with my previous
Hero, rather than this character).
Though the last few times I've logged on I have been the only high
level imperial around and each time I've had to retrieve the codex,
there was a time when things were looking up. It seems that the more
I played, the more the rest of you played. When I started playing
less, I rarely saw any high levels around. Or maybe I'm just deluded.
Regardless, I was looking forward to the deadline I gave the Empire
to meet their donation quotas. I was hoping to anathemize several
people on that day and the days following it, because I'm a sick,
sadistic sob. I also had a couple of plans in the works, which a
few of you knew about, and which might still have an affect, so I
won't go into them now.
several things I would have done and would still do (if I wasn't
deleting) to make it a much better reign.
I can say this much: they have gone far downhill since I had
my last battlerager. But maybe things will pick up.
of you have read this far, either you have alot of time on your
hands, or my writing is a dazzling piece of art which enthralls
all who absorb it.
