I'd say you have a bigger chance of a quest skill when the patron imm for your cabal is a coder the likes of Sebeok. > > As time went by, Malaglen became a bit more peaceful, and realized that if he could get the Masters to stop using transform on forest rooms in return for Sylvans not attacking them in dwarf or taking the orb, it'd be a bargain (not to mention them not taking the Sapling). So I tried to reason with you, but I'd burned my bridges. Can't blame a guy for trying (or maybe you do...*shrug*). As for the quest skill, I believe each Warder Captain gets a skill of some sort that fits their class and role...I know Pikel had some power that let him transfer life to another person. I don't think I got it due to being special beyond special enough to make Captain. > Oh and you do know that that quest skill of mine actually "went off" only about 4 times in my life, right? Never once against you. Heartseeker kicked your ass though, IIRC. You seemed rather bitter about that. > Anyways, from what I knew, Hifflio was a well-roleplayed char. I'm truly sorry things didn't work out for you the way you hoped.

> Afraid I have to pretty much fess up to that. Malaglen really hated evil master mages...probably more than Imperials. As a ranger with fast creep, you REALLY notice it when a Master takes a chunk out of a forest with transform. So, anytime I saw a Master and could kill them, with the exception of ones I knew were good aligned, I tried to kill them.
