Graham, you obviously missed the role that the plague played in Viscrinth's life... Although he did blame nature for the plague that destroyed most of his village, the plague (more importantly) made obvious the faults of nature as well as provided a bit of a base for his future bitterness and *slight* insanity... The plague was based on Theran history as well. Back in the day, for quite a while, Galadon was plague-infested. If you stood anywhere for a while, you got the plague. It really sucked for newbies ;)...

Anyway, this is far from cliche, and frankly, if you have something creative or constructive to say, say it. Otherwise keep it to yourself.
