I had thought of, but realised I really do not want to explain why our conversations during the later part of our friendship grew hesitant, flabby and superficial - which was obviously quite unlike how it had been before. I probably do owe you it, but I just felt that avoidance was a better way of dealing with you. :P You were always eloquent, I was always completely immersed in our every conversation. The way you responded to every single thing amazed me, from getting my ritual garb for the Wake, to that remarkably unanticipated episode of tarot-induced amnesia, to the witty impersonation of you-know-who. ;) From birdnest hunting in springtime, taking over the dingy nursery, the petulant "phbffffft"'s, to incorporating the cheesy robin's eggshell into your description, to bitching about Dispater, I cannot tell you how often I'd laughed when you were around, often either mocking or marvelling at your ingenuity. We had a great friendship, all said and done. So, one last time for you, P.S. I recalled a certain song when I told you that tale (more like vignette) that goes "Jeremiah was a bullfrog... he was a good friend of mine...", if you know which one that is. :)
