-While your description is well-written and rather informative about the appearance of your character, it reminds me of a problem I see often in many characters. My rant is, pardon my pickiness, that you shouldn't include specific clothing in your description. Are you going to wear traditional elven clothing throughout your entire life? Will you pass up those charred bracers during newbiedom for "traditional" elven gear? If you did I would be impressed, but I doubt anyone could be that specific. When I try to write my descriptions I think more of things that don't change about my character, like their face, hair, body size (forget about enlarge and stuff), composure, tattoos, and any emotions that may be present often in your character. It irks me to see someone waiting at the pit for their clothing while their description says that they have two ceremonial swords strapped to their back and a full dress of Seantryn finery. Instead, maybe say something about the appearance of your clothing. If your character is neat, say so and allow it to be reflected in your polished armor. If they are poor or don't care about their clothing, make it mismatched, dirty, and poorly taken care of. Basically, I think being general is better in descriptions, except in things that don't change, ie your face, hair. Sorry about rambling. CB
