You misunderstand my argument. Of course I'm not saying that non-rhyming poems are written mostly by pretentious morons... I've read plenty of that sort of poetry that I like. I was categorizing the *bad* rhymeless poems I've read, and perhaps generalizing about their authors, but I'm certainly not making any statements about rhymeless (there's *GOT* to be a literary term for this... any English majors out there?) verse as a whole.
